PRE Standard of Practice

CJD 21-02 Concerning Court Appointments of Parental Responsibility Evaluators 

PRE Complaint

Parties or their counsel of record shall file a complaint only after the court has made prima facie findings on the record that the PRE failed to comply with the court’s order of appointment or has violated a practice standard set forth in in CJD 21-02.

CFI Roster

Inclusion on these rosters indicates that the CFI submitted a completed affidavit for eligibility as a CFI, passed a background check through processes and guidelines established by the Office of the State Court Administrator, and completed the mandatory CFI training.

CFI Complaint Log

Pursuant to CJD 04-08, the judicial district and the SCAO may publicly disclose only the existence of a founded complaint, the date of the finding, the standard or section of the CJD violated, and the sanction imposed.

CFI Complaint Process

You must request preliminary findings within 60 days of termination of the CFI’s appointment by filing JDF 1361 into your court case. 

CO LLP List

A Licensed Legal Professional (LLP) is a highly trained and state-licensed legal professional who can provide legal services in designated practice areas without the direct supervision of an attorney. In Colorado, LLPs are authorized to assist with family law matters, including: Divorce and legal separation and typically charge $100 – $250, depending on whether they are at law firms.
